The light of Taiwan. Johnson Wen 2011 08 04
This week, on Tuesday I went to play golf with my classmates at Tsoying Navy Golf Course. We talked about the front page of newspaper. There was a headline of a 22-year-old golfer Yani Tseng. She is a very famous golfer in Taiwan. She has demonstrated record-breaking greatness on weekend. She has become the youngest player ever to win four major titles thanks to her 10-stroke victory at the LPGA championship on Sunday. She is the light of Taiwan. We are proud of her.
Tseng was simply untouchable at the Locust Hill Country Club, leading from start to finish, and shooting a final round score of 66 for a winning score of 19 under par. It was her eighth career victory on the tour, her third of the season, and she has already gotten three of the last six majors. Tseng only needs to win the U.S. Open to complete the career slam. I think that she will have the chance to victory in Colorado in two weeks’ time.
